Hey guys! Checking my pulse here…Yep! Still alive. I have been so MIA at the B bar + I am so sorry! It’s been a busy last couple of weeks. Finally, things are getting back to my normal routine + I can finally start to share more about my trip to Spain last month. I had thought about sharing my trip day by day, but I think I’ll just share random days with you all; it’s a lot more fun this way! So, on one of our last days in Madrid, Danny and I really wanted to visit Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas. We showed up around 5:30 pm hoping to take a tour as there was no events on the days we could attend. We were bummed when they said the last tour closed at 5:00 pm. To our surprise we found out that there was a Flamenco Show happening there in the next couple of minutes! So, of course we had to stay!!! Keep on reading to hear all about it…
When Danny and I talked about our Spain trip, I knew a Flamenco show was a must for me! I figured Danny wouldn’t be as into it as I was, but boy was I wrong! He really enjoyed himself + so did I. Years ago, I was in dance + always admired all forms of dance. So, while watching the dancers, I really focused on each intricate movement. It’s amazing how much power + force is behind each movement.
Just when I thought, “they can’t keep going, there is no way!” B O O M; there they were, still g o i n g. Each moment was spectacular in it’s own way.
Of course, Danny and I both, enjoyed some delicious + tasty sangria while watching the show.
We finished a pitcher on our own! Ok, who are we kidding, mostly me, HAHA, but he did enjoy a glass himself.
Although this isn’t the day we had planned, it turned out to be the perfect night out!
If you ever find yourself in Madrid, Spain, I highly recommend La Pacheca; I promise you will truly enjoy yourself.
Let me know in the comments below if you are an admirer of dance as well! If so, what kind?
Stay tuned for more posts this week, xoxo.
As always, thanks for stopping by the B bar!
